Trinidad de Cuba was founded in 1514 by the first governor of Cuba. Since this is one of the best preserved cities with Spanish colonial architecture is was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, and is now visited by thousands of tourists each year. The city offers the visitor the extraordinary enchantment of a museum like city embedded between the sea and the mountains as well as a wide offer of hotels and restaurants.

The beautiful beach Play Ancon is located just a 15 minutes' bus ride or taxi ride from the city center. Thus, a beach holiday can easily be combined with a visit to the architectural jewel of Trinidad! Or vice versa, if you prefer to have a holiday in the ancient colonial city of Trinidad you can easily access the beautiful beach. The shuttle bus between Trinidad and Playa Ancon departs practically once an hour.
